In a word :Small size is used for small batches and small castings; Large size is used for mass production, continuous casting or large castings
Choose the shape of the edge type
There are two edge types -----Straight edge, beveled edge
Beveled edges are designed to mate with specific filter boxes for a tight seal.
Straight edges are used for flat-face clamping or in applications where special sealing is not necessary.
Choose the sealing material of the filter edge
There are three type material :
1 Normal cotton :Sealing is achieved by physical filling under compression,it suitable for the most of the aluminium casting .
2.Expand cotton :Actively expand when heated, filling gaps and voids,it suitable for applications with extremely high sealing requirements, such as continuous casting, large castings, or high-valued products casting.
3.Fiber paper :Sealing is achieved by physical filling under compression,it suitable for standard gravity casting applications where sealing demands are less critical
