Plastic environmental balls (also known as Hackectten Ring, Tri pack ball scrubber ball) are a new type of spherical packing made of corrosion-resistant plastics such as polypropylene (PP), reinforced polypropylene (RPP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). There is a reinforcing ball in the center of the sphere, with 12 radial lobes on each side. The interior is a grid like hollow structure without continuous large planes, thus it has the advantages of high porosity, high specific surface area, extremely low pressure drop, light weight, easy loading and unloading, and reusability.
